federally and state-funded AHEC Program Offices and Centers in
48 states. Members also include governmental agencies,
educational institutions, nonprofit organizations and
businesses professionally affiliated with local or state level
AHEC organizations. NAO membership provides numerous ways for
AHECs to collaborate, educate and strengthen local and

Medallion Membership
NAO Medallion members are organizations,
institutions, businesses, or individual donors that provide annual
financial support to NAO with or without current local or state
affiliation with an AHEC.
