Purpose: The Education Committee serves to aid in the development and implementation of on-going educational programs for NAO and its members, with specific consideration given to the AHEC Scholars program. Committee objectives include, but are not limited to:

• Address NAO member needs for resources pertaining to the AHEC Scholars program
• Develop best practices and guidelines for the AHEC Scholars program with attention to topics such as evaluation, core topic areas, incentives, and didactic education for the AHEC Scholars program
• Establish metrics to evaluate impact of stipends, didactic programming, and recruitment and retention models
• Bolster NAO member educational materials and provide resources, templates, and tools via an accessible online platform
• Maintain AHEC101 Orientation for biennial conference and create virtual version to be available asynchronously
• Develop a library of Pipeline programming resources
• Develop a library of Continuing Education programming resources
• Archive NAO webinars, trainings and orientations
