Join NAO for updates from pipeline partners old and new. We will introduce Healthe Foundations, a two-week, no-cost high school healthy lifestyle program from Cerner Charitable Foundation that provides teens with the tools to make more informed health decisions and teaches them how today’s decisions can shape their future.
In the technology-based format, students are immersed in a healthcare role - physician, nurse, technologist, pharmacist, health services manager or health coach. As a care team, they mirror the responsibilities found in a healthcare facility.
Healthe Foundations will join existing partners The Princeton Review and Sway Essay, which will provide updates on the services they offer.
NAO has renewed its partnership with The Princeton Review(TPR) for the third year to provide, among other services, self-paced MCAT prep courses for AHEC-affiliated students at a reduced rate ($850 per student compared to a retail price of $1699.) To date, TPR has worked with 60 AHECs as a part of its agreement with NAO. TRP will talk about the availability of enhanced K-12 support that’s been added to this year’s menu of options. NAO is partnering for the second year with Sway Essay, which offers personal statement coaching and editing at a reduced rate for AHECs. Last year, Sway worked with students affiliated with 14 AHECs.
