The Kentucky Horse Park is located just outside Lexington, Kentucky. The park is dedicated to celebrating the relationship between humans and horses through education, exhibitions, and competition. In addition to enjoying a selection of Kentucky cuisine and beverages, participants will experience the Parade of Breeds, a captivating showcase that celebrates the diversity and beauty of horse breeds from around the world. This event brings to life humankind's 6,000-year bond with horses through music, narration, and personal interaction. During the show, you'll see 4-6 breed representatives performing in hand and under saddle. Horses are dressed in colorful attire that reflects the culture, time period, and customs of their native lands. After the show, guests have the opportunity to take photos, pet the horses, and chat with the riders. It's a wonderful experience for horse lovers, both current and emerging, and a great way to learn about different breeds and their unique characteristics.
