AHEC Alumni/Advocate

Individuals who have participated in any AHEC program at any level, or have a current or past associiation with an AHEC. Current AHEC Scholars are also welcome to join this category.

AHEC Program Office

An organization that is an awardee of the federal AHEC grant and supports a network of regional AHEC centers committed to community-based health professions training programs.

AHEC Center

An organization with an independent 501(c)3 status that maintains a formal affiliation agreement with an AHEC Program Office, OR an organization with an independent advisory board that is hosted by another institution, business, or organization that maintains a formal affiliation agreement with an AHEC Program Office. The affiliation agreement must be active and current upon membership.
